    Hi Frederic

The LicenseValidator class already creates a hardware object that you can access without instantiating your own.

    It's declared in LicenseValidator.h as IQlmHardwarePtr hardware;

    Hi John,

I still can't make my program compile while using QlmHardware.

It is not that important though, since I'll be using a custom string for the computer ID.

    Best regards,

    Frederic.

    Hi Frederic

Did you try using the hardware object defined in the licenseValidator class?

    Hi John,

the hardware object is working in your C# example.

In my C++/CLI class, it doesn't though it is a simple extension of your class in another 'managed' language.

Also, I didn't really try your C++ example since it crashes at launch. It can be recompiled without error though.

    Best regards,

    Frederic.

    Hi Frederic

I'd be happy to get on a screen sharing session to help diagnose this. If you would like to do so, please reply by sending an email to support@soraco.co.

    Hi Frederic

We figured out the issue when creating a QlmHardware object in ManagedC++. Turned out to be an obfuscation problem.

We'll include the fix in our next minor update. Thank you for reporting this issue.
