CPU Intensive notification flood/Integration on windows
Hey Soraco,
I've been really enjoying the functionality that QLM provides, but I'm having occasional technical oddities. This one is the most recent, I started getting a ton of notifications on the side of my screen suddenly from your test server while I was doing some work on my sql environment, I couldn't get them to disappear until I manually ended the QLM process tree in my task manager. This weird loop of messages slowed down my PC significantly, this on top of my difficulties getting the QLM license server setup (The one click install didn't work on either of the machines I attempted to run it on), requiring about an hour's worth of remote-controlled assistance, makes me worry about our ability to implement QLM into a live environment if/when we decide to purchase it without there being significant side effects along with the installation. Any thoughts/reassurance on some of these issues would be much appreciated, the person who helped me get the server set up on my local machine was of great assistance and getting someone who knows your software to set up QLM from step one should we decide to purchase the full enterprise product may prevent a lot of these issues.

Hi Ryan
The notifications that you are seeing are because you are connected to the Demo License Server and your system is configured by default to report on activity on the Demo License Server.
This article describes how to change these notifications.
I was the one who helped you. The issue was that some IIS components were missing from your system. We'll be updating our Knowledge base article shortly to cover the IIS requirements.
Once you decide to purchase QLM, should you need some help with the setup, we're here to assist.
Cheers
John
