Trying to edit XML settings file crashes the License Wizard

Hello,

We try to do some modifications manually to the XML settings file, but I understand that in the new version of QLM this is not acceptable so we get the following message:

"The settings file ....xml was tampered. Aborting."

Editing the XML setting file only via the Management Console is too time consuming and not so convenient.

Is there a way to enable editing the XML file manually with a text editor without getting this error?
