License on computer without direct user access

Hi

I would like to use the licenses on embedded computers without direct user access. The user has a access to the embedded system via ethernet, but can not connect a keyboard or display to the device. 

Can the whole license activation be done through the api without having the QLM tool installed? e.g. the activation key is read by our own software and activated through the api?

  Yes, everything can be done through the api without QLM being installed.

  What operating system is your app deployed on and what programming language do you use?
