Trial Activation Email Landing in Spam
Hi,
When our users currently register for a trial, we have setup Soraco to send an email containing the activation key. However, this email chronically lands in the spam folder of our clients.
Pointing out to check the spam folder doesn't really resolve the issue as many trial users with little engagement, simply won't check their spam folder.
Is there a way we can configure the system so that those emails are sent from our own email server rather than yours?
Best,
Bert

Hi Bert
Determining how to design emails to not be flagged as spam is beyond the scope of the QLM support that we provide.
That said, there are many articles on the web that provide guidance on how to design an email to avoid it being flagged as spam.
For example: https://coherentpath.com/rarelogic/blog/how-to-prevent-emails-from-going-to-spam/

Hi John,
Thanks for this. We're familiar with these best-practices. We have good control of this in our own email domain.
I've posted this here is that emails sent out from your email servers land in the spam. As this may be triggered by other Soraco users, that's out of our control.A common way to solve this is something like this: https://www.godaddy.com/help/add-an-spf-record-19218 so that emails would be sent through our email domain.
We have successfully implemented this with other intermediaries. It'd be good to have a similar solution from you guys as well.
Best,
Bert

Hi Bert
For some reason, it seems that you are using our SMTP server to send emails. My guess is that we set this up at some point for you for testing purposes but you should really be using your own SMTP server to send emails. To configure the License Server to use your own SMTP server, please check the 2nd section in this article.
Regards,
John
